Generative AI-Driven Intelligent Cybersecurity Framework for Secure Hybrid Cloud Enterprise Systems
Abstract
The increasing adoption of hybrid cloud computing has enabled enterprises to combine private infrastructure, public cloud platforms, edge resources, and distributed applications to achieve scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiency. However, this complex environment also introduces significant cybersecurity challenges, including identity compromise, cloud misconfiguration, sophisticated malware, API attacks, data leakage, insider threats, and rapidly evolving zero-day attacks. Conventional cybersecurity mechanisms often depend on predefined rules, signatures, and manually configured security policies, limiting their ability to respond effectively to dynamic threats. This paper proposes a Generative AI-driven intelligent cybersecurity framework for securing hybrid cloud enterprise systems. The proposed framework integrates Generative AI, large language models, machine learning, security analytics, threat intelligence, identity management, and automated security orchestration across hybrid cloud environments. Security logs, network telemetry, vulnerability information, authentication events, and cloud configuration data are collected and analyzed to generate contextual threat intelligence. Generative AI supports anomaly interpretation, attack summarization, security-policy generation, incident investigation, and response recommendation. A human-supervised security orchestration layer enables validated automated responses while reducing unnecessary intervention. The framework is evaluated using detection accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, response time, false-positive rate, resource consumption, and threat-analysis effectiveness. The proposed approach aims to improve cybersecurity visibility, accelerate incident response, strengthen adaptive defense, and provide scalable protection for modern enterprise hybrid cloud infrastructures.
