AI-Powered Security Posture Management and Continuous Compliance Monitoring for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Enterprise Platforms
Abstract
The increasing adoption of SAP S/4HANA Cloud enterprise platforms has transformed organizational business operations by providing integrated financial management, supply chain management, human capital management, and enterprise resource planning capabilities. However, the growing complexity of cloud-based enterprise environments introduces significant security challenges, including unauthorized access, configuration vulnerabilities, data exposure, identity management risks, and regulatory compliance violations. Traditional security management approaches frequently depend on periodic assessments, manual audits, and predefined security rules, which may not adequately address continuously evolving cyber threats and dynamic compliance requirements. This research proposes an AI-powered security posture management and continuous compliance monitoring framework for SAP S/4HANA Cloud enterprise platforms. The proposed framework integrates machine learning, intelligent threat detection, automated security configuration assessment, user behaviour analytics, and continuous compliance validation to identify security weaknesses and potential violations. AI-driven analytical models evaluate system configurations, access permissions, authentication activities, audit logs, and enterprise security events to identify abnormal behaviour and emerging vulnerabilities. Furthermore, automated compliance mechanisms assess security controls against organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements. The framework aims to improve threat visibility, strengthen access governance, reduce compliance monitoring efforts, and support proactive security remediation. The research evaluates the effectiveness of AI-based security intelligence in improving enterprise cloud security, operational resilience, and continuous compliance assurance while maintaining data privacy, transparency, and human oversight
