Intelligent Enterprise Platforms using Federated AI and Secure Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure for Resilient Operations
Abstract
The increasing complexity of enterprise operations has accelerated the adoption of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and distributed data architectures. Intelligent enterprise platforms can improve decision-making, automate workflows, predict operational disruptions, and optimize organizational resources. However, centralized artificial intelligence approaches often require sensitive enterprise data to be transferred to common computational environments, creating concerns related to privacy, security, regulatory compliance, and data sovereignty. Federated artificial intelligence provides an alternative by enabling machine-learning models to be trained across distributed data sources while limiting the movement of raw data. When combined with secure hybrid cloud infrastructure, federated AI can provide an architecture capable of supporting intelligent and resilient enterprise operations across private and public computing environments. This study examines a conceptual framework integrating federated AI, hybrid cloud infrastructure, secure data exchange, distributed model training, containerized services, identity management, encryption, zero-trust security, and continuous operational monitoring. The proposed architecture enables organizations to retain sensitive information within controlled environments while using scalable cloud resources for computational workloads and collaborative intelligence. The research adopts a design-oriented methodology involving literature synthesis, architectural modelling, scenario-based evaluation, security-risk analysis, and performance assessment. The study emphasizes that enterprise resilience depends not only on infrastructure availability but also on model reliability, data quality, privacy protection, cybersecurity, interoperability, and governance. The proposed framework provides a foundation for developing secure, scalable, privacy-preserving, and intelligent enterprise platforms capable of maintaining reliable operations under changing business and technological conditions
